Hip arthroscopy

Pain in the hip that may be due to, for example, an accident or strain is often treated using arthroscopy.

Hip arthroscopy is also performed in order to, for example, clean the joint, as well as to treat meniscus injuries in the hip

Knee arthroscopy

Almost all surgery in the knee, aside from prosthesis surgery, is already performed arthroscopically.

Arthroscopy of the ankle

Arthroscopy of the ankle is the most common form of treatment following chronic pain that arose in conjunction with a sprained ankle.

Sprains are a typical complaint for sportspeople of all ages. Every day, about 500 people in Finland sprain their ankle. Half of these cases occur while he person is taking part in sport.

In general, sprains involve the foot being turned inwards, damaging the ligament on the outer side of the ankle. In addition to this torsion injury, the articular cartilage, joint capsule or tendons can be damaged.

Shoulder surger

Various degrees of complaint can occur in the shoulder joint, everything from pain to rupture of the rotator cuff. The form of treatment is always chosen together with the patient. The aim is to first excaminate what possibilities there are for rehabilitation and only then decide if surgery is appropriate.
